Process & Programs

The following 6 Phases are a brief overview of the Road Map and the Best Practices approach of our process.  These phases go very granular and involve assessments, working documents, social networking engagement, partner engagements and sound-boarding.

PHASE I
Prepare clients by setting up a “positive attitude campaign” to assist with reducing life’s stressors and create balance as they move through the process.  Life can be challenging enough however when you add a job loss in to the mix it can be paralyzing.  This phase serves as a starting point to set a cadence of consistent positive action and attitude.

PHASE II
Create a branding and crystallization campaign designed to answer the following:
“What do I want to do”, Where do I want to do it” and “what transferrable skills and equity do I possess that align with my goals.  We take clients through real world exercises to identify those key components and building blocks of what that right position looks like in while always keeping in mind realistic expectations.

PHASE III
Design a cover letter/resume campaign around the branding phase by creating a dynamic cover letter and resume that show’s relevance for the specific positions clients are applying to.  By working with clients on designing scalable cover letters and resumes they are better positioned as they move to the marketing phase.

PHASE IV
Set up an in-depth marketing campaign designed to circumvent the traditional methods of “looking for a job”.  Ensuring clients are prepared to market themselves are key as once the marketing phase is kicked off activity begins.

PHASE V
Kick off that marketing campaign with barometers in play to identify what’s working, what’s not and what adjustments need to be made.

PHASE VI
In-depth interview preparation and debrief processes to ensure interviews are effective, relevant and lead to next steps.

All of our programs follow the same standard process however are personalized based on our client’s individual needs.  These needs are determined by a culmination of the initial one to one consultation, the online questionnaire and resume review.  Keeping in mind our 6 Phase Process, the following is an overview and covers the diversity of our programs:

Management & Executive Program:
Professionals at the management and executive levels have a wide breath of experience and years of it. The challenge at this level is highlighting the experience in a format that covers the relevant information while keeping it to a page limit that isn’t overly excessive. Our management and executive programs are designed to qualify experience and quantify successes.  By delineating strategic experience from tactical experience the reader will be left with clarity and a strong understanding of the candidate’s capabilities.

Experienced Professional Program:
This category can cover anyone from administrative, technical, finance, sales, marketing and any other professional where the client has equity in a specific area or multiple areas.  Whether looking to leverage current expertise to segue to another industry, looking for career progression or just transfer from one company to another in the same or similar role, this scalable program covers all the bases.

Returning to Work Program:
When returning to work after a period of unemployment, the job market can seem daunting and overwhelming.  Job seekers may feel out of place and that no employer would hire them.  In reality there are many employers that welcome people who have been out of work and take their previous work experience strongly in to consideration.  It’s imperative however that these candidates understand how and where to sell themselves in addition to having realistic expectations.  We work with clients to accentuate the positives of their experience regardless of how long they’ve been out of the market.

Military/Government Transition Program:
Transitioning from the Military or Government to private industry can be an exciting prospect.  There are many nuances, processes and protocols in Military and Government roles that are less likely to be found in private sector however many traits are highly transferrable and desirable to prospective employers.  Capturing those traits and formulating a more private sector resume are keys to gaining exposure in addition to establishing the right connections.

New Graduate Program:
All top tier companies court new grads, and candidates that have the right GPA’s, internships and people skills will have numerous offers prior to graduation.  At this level it’s the attention to detail that make the most impact as to if a candidate moves through the process.  We work very closely with new graduates they are presenting themselves effectively and appropriately.  Resumes should highlight educational and internship relevancy to the position.

Internship Program:
Internships are the stepping stones to obtaining the right position with the right company upon graduation.  The process for internships is not dissimilar to that of the new graduate program.  Employers who bring on interns look for a level of maturity, enthusiasm, coachable personality and some knowledge base in relation to the position.
